My last road trip in Ontario!

Mis à jour : 18 nov. 2019

Hi and welcome to my new article. In this one I will talk about my little road trip with my host family in Ontario. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Right after school we left Ottawa for Niagara Falls because it was a 6 hours drive! It was so long but we came across a beautiful sunset. We arrived in Niagara Falls at approximately 9 p.m. We could see the waterfall from our hotel room and it was stunning! I went to a lot of fun places and shops that were close to where I stayed at with my exchange partner.

On Saturday, we woke up at 7:30 a.m and I saw the sunrise over the Niagara Falls from my hotel room. It was beautiful. After, we had breakfast and we left our hotel. We walked until the end of the path for the falls and we tried to take pictures but because of the splashing water, it was very hard to get good ones ahaha!

We went on a boat that drove us into the falls and it was an amazing experience! We also went to the butterfly museum of Canada with real ones!

At night we ate at the Hard Rock Café, I ordered mac and cheese and it was so good! After dinner, we went to an area with a lot of museums like the believe it or not museum and the haunted houses...

On Sunday, we left our hotel at 7a.m for to go to Toronto which was 2 hours away. We went to the Ripley’s aquarium of Canada and it was very phenomenal! After this we were 553 meters above the ground level since we were in the CN Tower it was pretty impressive and scary. Iwill for sure remember this moment.

This is where you think that it is the end of my road trip but, you’re wrong! We made a quick stop to Kingston to visit my exchange partner’s sister who is currently studying at Queen’s University.

Finally, that is it for my awesome weekend. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. See you soon!
